MHAIRI MCGREGOR

NSW Region

  • Facebook

Mhairi was originally born and raised on a Highland Pony Stud farm in Scotland. Before moving to Australia in 2004 she was an active member of Pony Club, particularly favouring cross country events, and would also show the ponies for her Dad in the school holidays.

When she started University in Bathurst NSW, studying a Bachelor Communications (Theatre/Media) she also took on work at a local trail riding centre called Yarrabin. This is where her interest for saddle fitting began due to the wide variety of horses and riders.

Over the years, Mhairi has explored many avenues of the equine industry, including studies in Equine Sports Therapy and working for the late HM The Queen on her Highland Pony stud at Balmoral and with The Duke of Edinburgh's Fell Ponies at Windsor Castle.

Now in her spare time Mhairi enjoys working with and competing her Highland Pony partbred at local events and taking her purebred Highland out for Sunday afternoon trail rides.
